讲座题目:GLOBAL SOLUTION OF 3-D KELLER-SEGAL MODEL WITH COUETTE FLOW IN WHOLE SPACE

内容摘要：We introduce both parabolic-elliptic Keller-Segel model and parabolic-parabolic Keller-Segel model in the background of a Couette flow with spatial variables in R^3. It is proved that for both parabolic-elliptic and parabolic-parabolic cases, a Couette flow with a sufficiently large amplitude prevents the blow-up of solutions. Here, we apply Green’s function method to capture the suppression of blow-up and prove the global existence of the solutions.

主讲人简介：王维克，现为上海交通大学爱情岛论坛 特聘教授，上海交通大学自然科学院常务副院长，国际数学杂志《Communications on Pure and Applied Analysis》合作主编，上海工业与应用数学会监事长。1997-2000年期间曾任武汉大学数学系系主任，数学与计算机科学学院院长。 2002-2009年期间曾任上海交通大学数学系主任。王维克2011年获上海高校教学名师奖；2011年主持获得上海市自然科学一等奖； 2014年获宝钢优秀教师特等奖提名奖。
